Calibrations:

FCS is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA Certificate Number: 6716.01) and is recognized by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). Our FCS Lab is accredited to perform temperature calibrations from -196C to 65C (-320.8F to 150F) within ambient spaces, refrigerators, freezers, ultra-cold freezers, liquid nitrogen chambers, and more. Our lab can also calibrate residual humidity from 10-95% within any ambient room/space including incubators. As experts in the healthcare space, our FCS field engineers are additionally able to meet all customer requirements by providing quality onsite and in-situ temperature and humidity calibrations without exposing the customers’ facilities, products, and patients to avoidable risk. Our project managers coordinate with each customer before our technician arrives, ensuring dates meet your needs, plan for all custom requests, and ensure our FCS certificates comply with your regulations.

Importance of A2LA Accredited Certificates of Calibration:

A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) is a non-profit, independent organization that provides accreditation services to testing and calibration laboratories. When a calibration service provider holds A2LA accreditation, it means that they have been evaluated and found to meet the highest standards for technical competence, impartiality, and performance.

There are several advantages to having A2LA Accredited Certificates of Calibration:

  1. Compliance: In some industries, such as healthcare, it is necessary to comply with specific regulations and standards that require calibration to be performed by a competent and accredited calibration service provider.
  2. Quality: A2LA Accredited Certificates of Calibration provide assurance that the calibration service provider has met rigorous standards for technical competence and impartiality, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the calibration results.
  3. Credibility: A2LA is a well-respected and recognized accreditation body in the calibration industry, so having an A2LA Accredited Certificate of Calibration can enhance the credibility of your calibration program and improve customer confidence.
  4. Global recognition: A2LA is a signatory to international mutual recognition agreements, which means that A2LA Accredited Certificates of Calibration are recognized and accepted worldwide.

Overall, having an A2LA Accredited Certificate of Calibration provides confidence that your equipment is accurately calibrated and meets the necessary standards, which can help to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and business success.
